## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking final action to approve portions of the State Implementation Plan (SIP) submission, submitted by the State of Georgia, through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Environmental Protection Division (EPD), on October 22, 2013, and supplemented on July 25, 2014, for inclusion into the Georgia SIP. This final action pertains to the infrastructure requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA or Act) for the 2010 1-hour sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS). The CAA requires that each state adopt and submit a SIP for the implementation, maintenance and enforcement of each NAAQS promulgated by EPA, which is commonly referred to as an "infrastructure SIP submission." The EPD certified that the Georgia SIP contains provisions that ensure the 2010 1-hour SO<INF>2</INF> NAAQS is implemented, enforced, and maintained in Georgia. EPA has determined that portions of the Georgia infrastructure SIP submission, provided to EPA on October 22, 2013, and supplemented on July 25, 2014, satisfies the certain required infrastructure elements for the 2010 1- hour SO<INF>2</INF> NAAQS.
