## Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Georgia through the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) through a letter dated July 31, 2018. EPA is approving into the SIP a modification to Georgia's Ambient Air Quality Standards regulation. The SIP revision updates Georgia's air quality standards for sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) to be consistent with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). EPA is approving the SIP revision because the change is consistent with the Clean Air Act (CAA or Act) and Federal regulations.
