## Abstract

EPA is establishing an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the plant pesticide active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis CryIIIA delta-endotoxin and the genetic material necessary for [[Page 21726]] its production in potatoes. The Monsanto Co. requested this exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this plant pesticide in potatoes.
