## Abstract

EPA is approving revisions to the Georgia State Implementation Plan (SIP) to allow the State of Georgia to issue Federally enforceable state operating permits (FESOP). On March 15, 1995, the State of Georgia through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division (EPD) submitted a SIP revision fulfilling the requirements necessary for a state FESOP program to become Federally enforceable. In order to extend the Federal enforceability of Georgia's FESOP program to hazardous air pollutants (HAP), EPA is also approving Georgia's FESOP program pursuant to section 112 of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA) so that the State may issue FESOP for HAP.
