## Abstract

This action identifies those nonattainment areas in the State of Alaska and the State of Washington which have failed to attain the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than or equal to ten micrometers (PM-10) by the applicable attainment date. This action also serves to grant a 1 year attainment date extension for three nonattainment areas: Mendenhall Valley, Alaska; Spokane, Washington; and Wallula, Washington, for PM-10.
