## Abstract

This rule establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of pelargonic acid when used as a blossom thinning agent on apples and pears. A request for an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance was submitted by Mycogen Corporation. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this plant regulator on apples and pears.
