## Abstract

EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Maine. This revision establishes explicit year 2006 motor vehicle emissions budgets [Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Nitrogen Oxides (NO<INF>X</INF>)] for the Hancock and Waldo counties ozone maintenance area to be used in determining transportation conformity. This action is being taken in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act).
