## Abstract

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Ohio on August 30, 1996, which provides Ford Motor Company an extended exemption from opacity limitations for start-up of coal-fired boilers at its Cleveland Engine Plant 1. This revision extends the exemption for these boilers from 3 hours to 6 hours after start-up.
