## Abstract

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of polyvinyl chloride when used as an inert ingredient carrier in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops or raw agricultural commodities after harvest. American Cyanamid Company requested this exemption from the requirement of a tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-170).
