## Abstract

The EPA is approving revisions to the Iowa State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the state of Iowa. This approval incorporates Iowa rule revisions which are necessary to meet the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). These revisions improve the state's permitting programs and strengthen the SIP with respect to attainment and maintenance of established air quality standards, and with respect to control of hazardous air pollutants (HAP).
