## Abstract

This regulation establishes a time-limited tolerance for indirect or inadvertent residues of N-(4-fluorophenyl)-N-(1- methylethyl)-2-[[5-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2- yl]oxy]acetamide and its metabolites containing the 4-fluoro-N- methylethyl benzenamine moiety hereafter referred to as flufenacet, the proposed common chemical name, in or on certain raw agricultural commodities when present therein as a result of the application of flufenacet to field corn and soybeans as a herbicide. Bayer Corporation requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-170). The tolerance will expire on April 30, 2003.
