## Abstract

This rule establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of copper-ethylenediamine complex in or on potatoes when applied/used in accordance with good agricultural practice as an active ingredient in pesticide formulations as a desiccant/harvest aid. The Interregional Research Project Number 4 (IR- 4) submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-170) requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of Copper-ethylenediamine complex in or on potatoes.
