## Abstract

This regulation establishes a tolerance for combined residues of the insecticide emamectin benzoate, 4'-epi-methylamino- 4'- deoxyavermectin B<INF>1</INF> benzoate (a mixture of a minimum of 90% 4'-epi-methylamino-4'- deoxyavermectin B<INF>1a</INF> and a maximum of 10% 4'-epi-methlyamino-4'deoxyavermectin B<INF>1b</INF> benzoate) and its metabolites 8,9 isomer of the B<INF>1a</INF> and B<INF>1b</INF> component of the parent insecticide (8,9 ZMA); 4'-deoxy-4'-epi-amino- avermectin B<INF>1</INF> (AB<INF>1a</INF>); 4'deoxy-4'-epi-(N-formyl-N- methyl)amino-avermectin (MFB<INF>1a</INF>); and 4'-deoxy-4'-epi-(N- formyl)amino-avermectin B<INF>1</INF>(FAB<INF>1a</INF>) (CAS No. 137512-74-4) in or on Brassica, head & stem subgroup (5-A), head lettuce and celery. Novartis Crop Protection, Inc. requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
