## Abstract

On July 29, 1998, the State of North Carolina, through the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) submitted miscellaneous revisions to the North Carolina State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions include but are not limited to, clarifying rules for the control of particulate emissions, adding requirements for expedited permit processing, revising the Division name and address, and amending case-by-case MACT language. EPA is approving these revisions because they are consistent with the requirements set forth in the Clean Air Act (CAA) amendments of 1990.
