## Abstract

This regulation establishes a time-limited tolerance for residues of 3,6-dichloro-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid (clopyralid) in or on flax seed. This action is in connection with a crisis exemption issued under section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizing use of the pesticide on flax. This regulation establishes a maximum permissible level for residues of clopyralid in this food commodity. The tolerance will expire and is revoked on December 31, 2001.
