## Abstract

EPA is approving a revision to the Colorado State Implementation Plan (SIP), carbon monoxide (CO) section, Colorado Springs element. In a June 25, 1996, submission, Colorado requests that emission reductions from oxygenate use in gasoline be substituted for reductions associated with the previously approved (48 FR 55284, December 12, 1983) bus acquisition program because the bus program was not implemented due to the lack of federal funding. This revision satisfies certain requirements of part D and section 110 of the Clean Air Act (CAA), as amended in 1990.
