## Abstract

EPA is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the Commonwealth of Virginia. This revision establishes and requires the implementation of reasonably available control technology (RACT) on major sources of nitrogen oxides (NO<INF>X</INF>) in the Virginia portion of the Metropolitan Washington D.C. serious ozone nonattainment area. The intended effect of this action is to grant conditional limited approval of Virginia's regulations to impose RACT on major sources of NO<INF>X</INF>.
