Abstract
This document summarized the Remand Order reaffirming the Commission's conclusion in the Implementation of the Non-Accounting Safeguards of Section 271 and 272 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (Non-Accounting Safeguards Order published January 21, 1997 at 62 FR 2927), that the term "interLATA service" used in section 271 encompasses interLATA information services as well as interLATA telecommunications services.
