Abstract
By this document, the Commission approves an increase from $.24 to $.494 in the default compensation rate for dial-around calls from payphones. This is the first increase in the dial-around default rate in over five years. The intended effect of this order is to ensure the widespread deployment of payphones and to provide fair compensation to payphone service providers.
