Radio Frequency Device Rules

This document addresses three petitions for reconsideration of various aspects of the rule changes adopted in the Second Report and Order and Memorandum Opinion and Order (Second Report and Order) in this proceeding. In particular, the Commission: Grants a request to permit compliance information statements for self-authorized equipment to be provided in alternative formats; grants a request to permit longer duration transmissions during the setup of security systems; and denies a requests to permit electronic labeling of self-authorized equipment, to further relax the equipment authorization requirements for low frequency intentional radiators and to require foreign regulators to accept accreditations of United States laboratories.
