## Abstract

On January 11, 1996, the Commission adopted a Report and Order regarding network protection to include terminal equipment connected to the two-wire Basic Rate Access (BRA) interface and the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) access technology. The Order further addresses petitions for amendment of its network protection rules to include terminal equipment for Public Switched Digital Service (PSDS) and adopts rules to govern revocation of equipment registration. This action will promote end-to-end digital connectivity for consumers.
