## Abstract

The Second Report and Order (Order) released February 26, 1998 promulgates regulations to implement the statutory obligations of section 222 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 relating to telecommunications carriers' use of Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) and other customer information. The Order resolves CPNI issues raised in other proceedings that have been deferred to this proceeding, including obligations in connection with sections 272 and 274 of the 1996 Act.
