This document allots FM Channel 247A to McFarland, California, as that community's second local FM transmission service in response to a petition filed on behalf of Kerner Broadcasting Company (RM-9143). Additionally, FM Channel 247A is allotted to Coalinga, California, as that community's second local commercial FM transmission service in response to a petition filed on behalf of James K. Zahn (RM-9158). Although the proposals were mutually-exclusive initially, the placement of a site restriction on the Coalinga request enables Channel 247A to be allotted to each community consistent with the technical requirements of the Commission's Rules. Coordinates used for Channel 247A at McFarland, California, are 35-40-16 and 119-20-30. Coordinates used for Channel 247A at Coalinga, California, are 36-12-37 and 120-25- 35. With this action, the proceeding is terminated.
