## Abstract

In this Memorandum Opinion and Order, the Commission grants in part and denies in part the Personal Communications Industry Association's (PCIA) Petition for Forbearance For Broadband Personal Communications Services. Simultaneously with this Order, the Commission is issuing a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking new comments regarding forbearance from regulation in wireless telecommunications markets that is responsive to current statutory standards and market conditions. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking is summarized elsewhere in this edition of the Federal Register.
