## Abstract

The Federal Communications Commission published in the Federal Register of December 9, 1997, a summary of a Report and Order that it adopted on November 25, 1997, that created a new regulatory framework for international telecommunications. The amendment to part 43 of the final rule included an incorrect amendatory instruction. This document corrects that instruction. Certain of the rules adopted in the November 25 Report and Order contained new or modified information collections. This document announces the effective date of those rules.
