## Abstract

The Commission, at the request of Washington Interstate Broadcasting Company, Inc., allots Channel 252A to Ranier, OR, as the community's first local aural service. See 64 FR 7847, February 17, 1999. Channel 252A can be allotted to Ranier in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 9.4 kilometers (5.8 miles) north, at coordinates 46-10- 18 NL; 122-57-42 WL, to avoid a short-spacing to vacant and unapplied- for Channel 252C3 at Dallas, OR. Canadian concurrence in the allotment has been received since Ranier is located within 320 kilometers (200 miles) of the U.S.-Canadian border. With this action, this proceeding is terminated.
