Abstract

The Commission, at the request of John L. Zolkoske and Broad Spectrum Communications, Inc., allots Channel 242A to Bay City, OR, as the community's first local aural service, substitutes Channel 235C3 for Channel 243A at Cannon Beach, OR, and modifies the license of Station KCBZ to specify the higher powered channel. The proposal of Zolkoske to allot Channel 235A to Manzanita, OR, as its first local aural service, is dismissed. See 63 FR 59263, November 3, 1998. Channel 242A can be allotted to Bay City in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements without the imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 45-31-24 NL; 123-53-18 WL. Channel 235C3 can be allotted to Cannon Beach without the imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 45-53-42 NL; 123-57-36 WL. Canadian concurrence in these allotments has been obtained since both Bay City and Cannon Beach are located within 320 kilometers (200 miles) of the U.S.-Canadian border. With this action, this proceeding is terminated.
