Abstract

This document amends the Commission's rules to promote a more efficient and effective organizational structure. The Commission has concluded that the proper dispatch of its business and the public interest will best be served by consolidating enforcement and consumer information functions into an Enforcement Bureau and a Consumer Information Bureau, respectively. The Commission also eliminates the Compliance and Information Bureau and the Office of Public Affairs and creates a small Office of Media Relations that will serve as the Commission's liaison with the news media and manage the agency's internet site.
