## Abstract

The Commission denies petitions for reconsideration and amends on its own motion its regulations concerning ex parte presentations in Commission proceedings, which were comprehensively revised in 1997. The current amendments modify the rules in minor respects based on the Commission's experience with the revised rules since 1997. The intended effect of the current amendments is to further make the rules simpler and easier to comply with, to enhance the fairness of the Commission's processes, and to facilitate the public's ability to communicate with the Commission.
