Abstract
NMFS is prohibiting directed fishing for Pacific cod by the offshore component in the Western Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the Pacific cod A season allowance specified for the offshore component in the Western Regulatory Area.
