Abstract
NMFS is issuing a final rule that provides the criteria and procedures necessary to access tissue samples archived in the National Marine Mammal Tissue Bank (NMMTB). These samples are available to the scientific community, contributors, and principal investigators for research that is consistent with the goals of the NMMTB and the Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Program (MMHSRP).
