## Abstract

NMFS is prohibiting directed fishing for "other flatfish" in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area (BSAI). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the 2017 "other flatfish" total allowable catch (TAC) specified for the BSAI.
