## Abstract

NMFS announces regulations to designate certain management measures as ``routine'' in the Pacific coast groundfish fishery off Washington, Oregon, and California. Once management measures have been designated as routine, they may be modified after a single meeting and recommendation of the Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council). Such action is authorized under the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan (FMP) and is intended to provide for responsive inseason management of the groundfish resource.
