Abstract
NMFS is closing the directed fishery for nearshore pelagic shelf rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the nearshore pelagic shelf rockfish total allowable catch (TAC) in the Central Regulatory Area.
