## Abstract

NMFS is prohibiting directed fishing for pelagic shelf rockfish in the Eastern Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the pelagic shelf rockfish total allowable catch (TAC) in the Eastern Regulatory Area of the GOA.
