## Abstract

NMFS is prohibiting directed fishing for offshore pelagic shelf rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the offshore pelagic shelf rockfish total allowable catch (TAC) in the Central Regulatory Area of the GOA.
