## Abstract

NMFS issues this final rule to establish annual quotas for the South Atlantic swordfish stock and to amend the regulations governing quota adjustment procedures in the Atlantic swordfish fishery. The purpose of this action is to improve the conservation and management of the Atlantic swordfish resource, while allowing harvests consistent with the recommendations of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT).
