## Abstract

NMFS announces final 1998 harvest specifications, prohibited species bycatch allowances, and associated management measures for the groundfish fishery of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area (BSAI). This action is necessary to establish harvest limits and associated management measures for groundfish during the 1998 fishing year. The intended effect of this action is to conserve and manage the groundfish resources in the BSAI.
