Abstract

This rule will allow acoustic deterrent devices to be deployed farther away from the net in the California/Oregon drift gillnet fishery (CA/OR DGN fishery). The intended effect of this action is to allow acoustic devices to be more safely and efficiently attached to drift gillnets.
