Abstract
NMFS announces closure of the 1999 catcher/processor fishery for whiting at 12 noon local time (l.t.) July 21, 1999, because the allocation for the catcher/processor sector will be reached by that time. This action is intended to keep the harvest of whiting within the 1999 allocation levels.
