Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY / ABSTRACT The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Laboratory Services Division (LSD) is seeking funding under FDA funding opportunity PAR-20-105, “Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (U19)”. This summary is for the Microbiology Discipline Analytical Track 1: Food Defense. The purpose of this track is to ensure laboratory surge capacity for the analysis of foods and food products related to microbiological contamination, through intentional means, and to enhance network capacity and readiness of state BSL2+ and BSL3 laboratories. As part of this analytical track the MDA laboratory commits to analyzing at least 50 food samples for food defense agents. Project Summary/Abstract - Minnesota Department of Agriculture
