## Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY / ABSTRACT 
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Laboratory Services Division (LSD) is seeking funding under 
FDA funding opportunity PAR-20-105, “Laboratory Flexible Funding Model (U19)”. This summary is for the 
Special Projects: Sample Collection Track. 
The purpose of this track is to assist laboratories in obtaining the samples needed to meet the goals of the 
cooperative agreement. The MDA laboratory has committed to analyzing 600 Human Food and 750 Animal 
Food samples. The MDA Food and Feed Safety Division has agreed to collect at least 15% samples for the 
laboratory. The rest of the samples will be collected by MDA Laboratory personnel.
