## Abstract

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Laboratory Division's Information 
Technology (IT) specialist, and FDA Food Emergency Response Network (FERN) program lead have been 
working with our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) LabLynx, State of Michigan 
Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) and the FDA on the enhancement of the 
laboratory's IT systems to submit data electronically by integrating the laboratory's IT system with 
NFSDX. This Data information upload will replace all other uploads for FDA data, including the FERN 
Portal and eLEXNET by the fall of 2020.
