## Abstract

Abstract
The NIA’s Exceptional Longevity (EL) program supports multiple consortia that are generating
and analyzing data to better understand the biological mechanisms that underlie long life span.
Given the high value and rarity of these data resources, the EL program is seeking to enable
access to EL data to qualified researchers in order to promote transparency and to catalyze
data reuse in a broad range of research. The AD Knowledge Portal (adknowledeportal.org)
serves as an NIH designated repository to support the NIA’s strategic goal to propagate data
sharing under FAIR principles and to promote open science. This project is focused on
integrating the Exceptional Longevity program into the AD Knowledge Portal by distributing
information on the program, designing the appropriate data governance strategy, and
supporting the collection, management and dissemination of data and results from the EL
program.
