## Abstract

Chemistry Track 2 – Human Food Product Testing 
Narrative 
The Arizona Department of Health Services Laboratory (ASPHL) is the MFRPS Laboratory in 
Arizona and proposes to engage in human food product testing from both retail grocers and 
food manufacturing facilities within the state. In coordination with the FDA the ASPHL will collect 
and analyze 1,600 surveillance samples for Toxic Metals and Allergens under ISO 17025 QA 
oversight and plans to increase capacity and function in years 3-5 to include compliance 
pesticide residue and/or compliance veterinary drug and/or compliance mycotoxin testing.
