## Abstract

Method Development and Validation Special Project Abstract 
The goal of this project is to assist the State of Tennessee in developing methods and 
technologies to expand the TDA Technical Service Laboratory's (TSL) ability to monitor for 
pesticides in samples in support of an integrated human food and animal feed safety system 
across the United States. It is a goal of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture to develop 
methods and technologies to expand the capability to detect pesticides in human food. The 
work proposed in this project will help expand the TSL's ability to test for more pesticides in 
more food products resulting in a stronger human food safety system.
