# Pilot Study of a Developmental Transcriptomic Screen Comparison of Dose-Response in Tissues

> **NIH NIH N01** · BATTELLE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE · 2020 · $468,013

## Abstract

Abstract: Three sub-projects are included in this project. The model system for all is 2D or 3D HepaRG cells. The endpoint is high throughput transcriptomics. The first sub-project evaluates selected chemicals previously evaluated in 2D HepaRG, in 3D HepaRG. The second project is a time-course evaluation of the 3D HepaRG system using model chemicals. In addition, samples are included to allow comparison of cellular response to model chemcials between the 3D HepaRG system and primary human hepatocytes. The final project is an assessment of several aqueous firefighting foams in support of ongoing work to produce benchmark dose modeling data for data-poor chemicals and formulations.
