## Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY
On behalf of the six Global Health Program for Fellows and Scholars consortia, the UCGHI GloCal Health
Fellowship is requesting funding for the five-day 2021 Orientation and Training for new fellows. This key
meeting at the beginning of the fellowship year provides trainees with valuable preparation on a wide range of
subjects in order to assist them in having a successful fellowship and career in global health. It also gives
trainees in all consortia the opportunity to meet others working in the same region and/or on similar research
topics as themselves, as well as to get to know fellows/staff/PIs in their own consortium, Fogarty staff, and
directors and staff from diverse NIH institutes.
