Abstract

The Contractor shall provide services to extend the breadth and functionality of the existing Automated Self-Administered 24-hour Dietary Assessment System (henceforth referred to as the ASA24 System or System). The ASA24 System is comprised of a respondent website that currently collects data in English, Spanish, and French; a researcher website; and an informational website. The tasks involve 1) developing and implementing a module in the ASA24 respondent website containing questions about the timing of eating occasions in relation to the timing of that same day’s sleep; and 2) creating and implementing a tool that will allow researchers to add a new food, beverage, or supplement to their study that is not yet in the current ASA24 database, such as medical foods, regional or international foods, and foods associated with special diets used by their study population.
