Project Summary
This is an application for a Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (PA-20-222).
The parent R01 grant associated with this application is entitled “Targeting Lysine Methyltransferases EZH2
and EZH1 for Treating MLL-rearranged Leukemias” supported by NCI (5R01CA218600-04). Julia Velez is the
diversity candidate. She is a US citizen of Hispanic/Latino descent and is currently an PhD student at Icahn
School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. The main goal of this study is to identify and characterize
